K-Swapped Cefiro Build. Pt.16 I made a big mistake, but we got cool stuff done.

We're getting very close to finishing the ultimate street drift car build. where we're putting a turbo k24a2 into a 1992 Nissan cefiro, we build a fan shroud, and expansion tank, finish the fuel system, etc. But I make one crucial mistake.

You can bend the aluminum around your leg for the perfect curve for your expansion tank bottom. Or put a bunch of small bends down the length of the piece with the brake, kinda like what you did but multiple the amount of bends but with more acute angles

Goes to great lengths to talk about his use of press brake and includes a list of tools.....minus the brake. Is it just a HF press with a diy brake?

Next time on a long bend like that use a straightedge and cut a dotted line with the plasma cutter. Bend it on the dotted line then weld just where you cut it instead of welding the whole thing.

I fixed that setting it should be good now. It was set as “ask me every time” for some reason even though the answer is always no. Try it again and let me know.

What was the cutter you used for the line? I bought one similar to that and it was absolute junk. Mine just flexed and couldn't get through my -10 line.

Hey ever got that stripped stud?. Found this US-first video that does a pretty good job us-first.info/player/video/Y52DY7Bimotzopc.html skip to 6:10 if the stud is near flush. Basically weld and screwdriver to the end and rock it ccw- cw.

That's what you get when you fumble with the Camera without Sandy over-seeing things! *WHAP* Well it was a good show-n-tell anyways. But yeah would of been more fun watching you fumble through it.

Might i suggestion getting a coolant vacuum filler. Use it at work every day. Easiest to fill coolant with little to no air bubbles

Hey Taylor! If you format an SD card and dont do anything with it after you format it its really easy to get the data back. The only thing the format does is changing a placeholder from a 1 to a 0 and says the space is up for grabs but the data is still there so theres programs that reverse it.
Kristoffer Linder
Kristoffer Linder 2 months ago
@Taylor Ray Bummer! I had to use it on a 2 month vaccay when I accidently formated my 50GB gopro sd-card. Used Runtime.org's GetDataBack and got everything back :)
Taylor Ray
Taylor Ray 2 months ago
I tried it with disk drill or something like that. Took an hour and only retrieved two documents.
Kristoffer Linder
Kristoffer Linder 2 months ago
And when this is your work you should download a software like that and try it out with a SD card you already copied the files from just to try it out :)

Taylor!!! Look up steel stud framing crimping. It will teach how many bends and where at etc based on math of a radius number. Or u can just look up the numbers. Like almost 1 inch per degree type things. Its how we make snaked walls and circle openings in construction :) it might help with bends etc.

There is so many ways to recover your recordings. Formatting usually just delete the partition table. Meaning your data is still there, it just lost the path to the data. Dont do anything with the sd card, but putting it in a pc with recovery tools. You might already have been recording on top of the data, but at least you hopefully know for next time

I am not a troll. I thoroughly enjoy your channel. Your positive view on wrenching and fabricating is not only motivating but also aspiring for newbies. 1 ?. Do they know you cut the roof off of a double wide trailer to use as a hood? I bet you get a free bowl of soup when you buy that hood.

If you dont use the SD card, you can recover the data. Even if you do use it, you can recover some of the footage. There's software (free) to recover deleted files. Technical: You never truly "delete" things, they just get marked as deleted and over-written as you add new data.
Ian Crosson
Ian Crosson 2 months ago
I don't want to bum you out but in future run a free data recovery tool like recova on the SD card. Any format you run is usually called a quick format which simply puts a marker at beginning of data for hard drive so that device (camera) knows the data is available to write to. This doesn't mean that data is really removed until you record new data. That being said. Love the video as always.
